Gibson Country Gentleman
Every molecule of this guitar is first class. Hand carved arched maple top, premium Bigsby trem, ebony fretboard with red markers, maple back, mahogany neck and some of the smoothest tones around. The master volume control is especially useful. The whammy is perfectly placed and reliable. Pretty too. The gold plating appears thick and should hold up well.
The narrow, smallish neck may not be perfect for large hands or chubby fingers but don’t let that stop you from trying one out. The Country Gentleman is a comfortable, luxurious axe and works best in situations where volume levels stay reasonably sane. This photo doesn’t do justice to the chocolate finish and attractive grain.
